Requirements
IT Generalist/System Admin - Shop floor
Essential Functions: What you’ll do:
Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and networks.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
Perform routine system maintenance tasks, including updates, and patches.
Assist in the management of user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures.
Collaborate with senior VP of IT and staff on various projects and initiatives.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Be flexible - Work outside of regular business hours if needed
Be available for occasional travel to support other locations
Supports additional projects and assignments as required.
Qualifications: What you’ll need to be successful
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Basic understanding of network and system administration concepts.
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and common software applications.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
Experience with virtualization technologies, firewalls
Knowledge of cloud services (Office 365).
Basic scripting skills.
Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Physical Demands:
